Structure and Function Matter Most
What is Myobrace?
The Myobrace®️ System is a preventive pre-orthodontic treatment that aims to address the underlying causes of crooked teeth without the need for tooth extraction. It focuses on unlocking natural growth and development. Addressing these problems at a young age can significantly impact various aspects of an individual's life.
Orthodontic issues like crooked teeth, overbite, or mouth breathing are often symptoms of improper myofunctional habits and limited development of the maxilla and mandible, which can also affect breathing and airway function.
What Age is Best for Myobrace?
Myobrace treatment is most effective for children aged 6-11. The treatment involves using a series of removable intra-oral appliances that are worn for 3-4 hours each day and overnight while sleeping.
How Do We Use Myobrace?
Myobrace treatment involves the use of a series of oral appliances, called Myobrace appliances, designed to correct the underlying causes of crooked teeth and other orthodontic issues.
While Myobrace offers significant benefits, it's crucial to understand that compliance can be a challenge. Successful outcomes require a strong commitment to wearing the appliances as directed. It's important for patients and their families to work closely with our office to address any compliance issues that may arise during treatment.
